Once through, another portal will appear along the waterfall itself, and you must chase the goalposts by swimming up the waterfall. Head across the bridge from Zora’s Domain to Mikau Lake to find a new glowing portal, and equip your Zora Tunic. The last clue mentions chasing the rings of a waterfall - and the last map on the pedestal points to an area to the right of Zora’s Domain. Now you can visit the Monk to get the second of Ruta’s Emblems. Head down to the ball receptacle to spot a chest on a platform along the right, and create platforms to climb with Cryonis to get up and retrieve a Giant Ancient Core. If everything goes well, the ball will be shot up into the next area and onto the receptacle - opening the door to the Monk. This may take a while for physics to work in your favor - but the ball should roll off the lever and bounce into the block on the left, and then use that momentum to roll off the block in the middle and into the right slot. However, since this sends it into the middle slot, and you can only have three blocks out at a time, wait until you see the ball pass over the first cryonis block to place a fourth one slightly above the middle slot. Use your third cryonis block and place it above the leftmost slot - slightly over the divider, so that it catches and rebounds the ball falling off the lever. Here it will fall into the left or middle of three slots - but we need it on the right slot. Then place another block under the lever to stop the ball from moving it down - so that it rolls off to the right, then down left on the second lever. Place a cryonis block to plug up the first slot so it rolls over and into the second slot. Much like the Ha Dahamar Shrine, you’ll have to use Cryonis on the wall to influence where the ball goes.Īs the ball drops from the top - it goes into the first five slots. Inside Sato Koda Shrine - Support and Guidance, you’ll see moving orbs along the back wall with a backdrop of water. Once all four Guardians are defeated, a new shrine will appear. Stick to the plateaus, and the Moblins and Lizalfos won’t bother you, and you’ll be at a better height to engage the skywatchers. Aim true with your Ancient Arrow or use explosive arrows on their propellers to send them crashing down. Perfect Parrying or the Master Sword works well on the turret, but the Skywatchers tend to dangle about and may make you miss a parry. As you climb up, you’ll find there are several of them, as well as a Guardian Turret and other monsters.Įquip your Guardian Resist armor or high defense, grab some Ancient Arrows if you can, and get to work. Equip the Zora Armor and ride up the waterfalls to Toto Lake, and look West to spot some Guardian Skywatchers flying over the area shown in the map. Looking at the maps on the pedestal, there’s one that features several mountains just above a blue dam. Push it under the overhang and against the far wall, then use Cryonis to get two ice platforms for the price of one - giving you enough height to reach the Monk and collect not a Spirit Orb - but Ruta's Emblem, one of three needed to unlock a new challenge. Use the partially melted blocks to reach the top level where another large ice block is, and the path ahead leads to a lower overhang and a steep cliff up to the Monk.Ĭryonis alone won't help you here - instead, light another torch and melt the giant block until you can push and carry the ice block. Once on the ledge, continue melting ice - and check under the main platform to find an alcove with more ice that's blocking the way to a chest holding a Frostblade. Standing on one will cause two ice blocks to roll down against the platform - you will need to melt the farthest one down so that you can jump up on the second one and melt the ice on the ledge. Here, there are more ice blocks in a high ledge, with two pressure plates on each side. Use the torch to melt the two large ice blocks at the end of the bridge to enter the next area. Head down to the bridge of ice and look for a torch near a lit brazier. Inside Kee Dafunia Shrine - The Melting Point - you will be presented with a road full of ice blocks. Along the water, you can spot a faint glowing blue portal - glide down to it to reveal a new shrine in the water.
